Army Doctor And JCO Test +Ve For COVID-19
Indian Army Launches "Operation Namaste".
Positive India:30 March-2020: An Army doctor of the rank of colonel has tested positive for #COVID-19. The doctor is posted at Army Command Hospital,Kolkata in West Bengal. Recently he has visited New Delhi . The doctor is being treated and put in quarantine alongwith all those who might have come in his contact.
A Junior Commissioned Officer has also tested #coronavirus positive. The JCO is based at Army Camp in Dehradun. He is being treated at Army Hospital.
On 27th March, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane has launched “Operation Namaste” to purge 1.3 million strong army of #COVID-19. General Naravane has assured all army personnel that he will take care of both Indian Army and thier their families.
