JSPL Observes National Safety Week at Raipur

Positive India: The week-long celebration of 48 th National Safety Week by Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL), Raipur culminated on 08 th March,2019 evening with Street play and distribution of prizes. While addressing the employees and workers of the plant along with Koshal Sharma AVP & Unit Head. He has highlighted about the importance of Safety in day to day life. Sunil Kumar Pandey, DGM–Safety has also addressed employees to put emphasis on behaviour based safety. He also requested to keep hormonal relation at home and work place which will help to improve the peace of life and as a result happy family life for which we are earning. Prizes were distributed to various winners of different competitions organized by Safety Department of JSPL, Raipur. In concluding remarks by Pradeep Tandon President JSPL qouted that our motive behind this 7 day’s activity including workshop to be full proof safety system. Than only our family, state and our nation will be perfectly safe and more productive.

To raise awareness amongst the employees and workers, Safety week celebration, started on 1 st March 2019. This event was having several awareness program like street plays, the week long programs such as Safety Slogan (Hindi & English), Safety Poster, best safety observation ( UC/UA), Best Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Best Accident prevention plan, Safety champion, Best Safety index etc. This was held among employees and contract workers. Similarly to promote safety awareness among the employees, Safety badges were distributed and during the closing ceremony the lucky no. winners have been awarded. To motivate specially Safety Champions, best Safety Champions have also been awarded for their contribution in day today safe work practice and motivate other co-workers to follow the same. At the end all HODs have congratulated the workers and passed best wishes for through out the year.
